Time flies by when your having fun! day 41 and more money has come in!
I sold the next two pieces of rabbit stuff for a total of £70 (£149920 to go) but then I spent £18.80 on Ewen Chia's new book and I also invested £9.70 (international shipping) in the PPC classroom DVD. So my monnies actually stand at £149948.50 to go, better than it was but still a long way to go!
I have been getting hold of every free ebook and niche software that I can find and am about to launch an ebay shop...if the money will allow selling them as converted to CD format - this gets arround the change to the selling rules for electronic media products and allows you to still earn feeddback from them!
I realy need to think about getting one of my domains active again and getting a host so I will have somwhere to store all my products!
When I started this I knew it would build slowly and then climb into a crashing wave, (lol poetic licence or what!) but I'm still at the tiny ripples in the pond stage at the moment.
I've completed my second article on "How to Improve at Golf" but it is still awaiting release on www.ezinearticles.com You can however read my first article at the above link.
If any of you fellow marketers has any good ideas then drop me a comment and I'll try and get to your Blogs and have a read too!

The Experiment - Day 26
Day 26 I've been realy busy at work recently and have not had much time to put pen to paper or to bash the keyboard. I started reading through a load of notes I made the first time I tried to make money online and was horrified to see how many times I was ripped off and how much "stuff" I had accumulated.
Don't let anyone tell you making money online is easy. Unless you are realy lucky and get in with a genuine master on your first stab then you will probably see money pour from your wallet before you see any trickle back in.
Having said that I then found the product that I bought that first made me any money. It is called (I found that it is still available so what the hell, blatant selling here!) One very Simple Idea and once you purchase it, it gives simple instructions that even when I was a newbie I could follow and make sales from!
Oh yes I almost forgot, the first item of rabbit paraphenalia that I had has now sold and my monnies stand at a wopping £10! wow! only another £149990 to go!

The Experiment - Day 21
So Day 21, (5th Feb 09)
I've not written anything in my blog recently, I've been a little busy setting up a free website ( How to Improve at golf ) I used a free website host called Weebly and it is brilliant especialy if you have no experience of HTML or website building, Everything you need to build an interactive website is pretty much included.
I had to find a free autoresponder to put my opt-in box on the front page but that was easier than I thought. I used one called Freeautobot.com. They provide the code that produces the opt-in box and let you know how to alter it so that you can send your subscribers to the page you want them on.
I thought that as I love golf and I had access to some information and material to do with the subject (Thank you Ewen Chia!) I would be a fool not to use it!
As to the bum marketing, I haven't done much on that yet (Yeah I hear you cry you failled didn't you?!) The truth is that the main site that it is suggested to use will only allow you to include links in your advert if you are a paid up member and since I am starting out with no money, I can't afford the $9.99 per month that they require. and ezineArticles strictly forbid the use of affiliate links in any article submitted to them. So I am looking around at other article marketing sites and I will have a go at this a little later. I would hope to see some money come in by the end of this month (Feb 09)

Day 4
Day 4 - I spent the weekend doing some research on different methods of raising money online (I never said I would stick to just one way of making money!). So last year my pet rabbit shuffled off this mortal coil and joined the great warren in the sky, leaving me with a shed full (literally) of used rabbit paraphenalia so I have put that up for sale on a local auction site http://www.wightbay.com/
Then whilst doing some extensive reading I refound an article I had completely forgotten about that hints you can make money without the use of a website, list of customers or anything else! its called "Bum Marketing" (so easy even a bum could do it!) technically its known as article marketing (and if I fail to make money at it then I am stupider than a bum!...(note to self, if you fail to make money using this method then do not tell anyone!)). As the article says it doesn't cost any money to try so its a no brainer about giving it a go. I will let you know if anything happens, or any money comes in!
One thing I have noticed is that the people who really make money online, even out of the affiliate marketers, are the ones who have at least one product to sell. It stands to reason I guess, if you have 100 affiliates marketing your product and each of them only has one sale, you as the owner still have 100 sales. So I need to research a product that I can put together that other people will have a need of and other marketers will sell for me. (This task looks like a very long hill to climb and I am still standing at the bottom just admiring the view!)
However, other people have made money from the internet and there is no reason why I should not be able to do the same!

Day 2 - It's day 2 and I'm still signing up to social networking sites! I realised that to avoid breeching the terms and conditions of most of these sites I had to set up an independant blog that they could link to....this is the only way I can legaly place links to third party sites that may ask for details or may try to sell people products!
Lets be honest with each other, at some point, I'm going to need people to buy some stuff or join some sites via my links, to gain a small cash flow from my blog. Yes, I'm doing this to be informative and to keep a diary of what happens over the next five years but I'm also going to try to make a little extra from it if I can! (hence setting up AdSense on here!).
Anyway, as I said, still joining sites and researching methods. these first few weeks might be a lot like this depending on how much time I get to be online around work and home....I'm expecting a new member to join my family in late May early June, so things are likely to go haywire then!
Keep reading and commenting, and if any of those super guru's out there like Ewan Chia or Stone Evans or any of the others happen across this blog (yeah right!) then feel free to leave some ideas on how you may approach this task! lol

The Expriment - To Attempt to earn enough money from the internet in 5 years to pay off my mortgage....Without investing any money that I don't earn from the experiment.
Day1 - So here we are at day one, I must be mad to even attempt this but hey ho you've got to start somwhere. So jobs for day one include: 1. Set up a google mail account for the experiment to recieve any queeries and spam.2. Set up a myspace account for the experiment to enable use of the Blog facility and give my friends access to it.3. Set up other social networking accounts for the same reasons listed above.4. Write first day blog entry for each experiment site and launch it so that people know we are live and the experiment is running! So, here we go! It is 16:45 on January the 15th 2009. I have no money in my accounts and I have until the same time and day in 2014 to try and raise £150000.I am not allowed to spend any money and may only use products that I already own or create. once I start making money I may reinvest that in marketing schemes, websites etc but until then I am on my own. If any other internet marketers want to leave comments, drop in any ideas (or just down right laugh at me ) feel free to post comments.I'll write more later, but that is it for day 1 (too many other things to do for now!)
